This group really cares about people. I go for medication and therapy and have been grateful for the care that I've received. I'm someone who has anxiety/depression and CBT has been a helpful treatment. I contacted several other groups before Life Changes and they never got back to me. Thankfully I took the advice of a friend (who also goes) and called. I was surprised how quickly they got back to me and gave me an appointment. I love my doctor and plan to stay as long as I need help/support. It was a long road finding the right place. I hope your journey ends up like mine.
This is a wonderful practice with thoughtful and dedicated providers. I've been seeing Dr. Goldberg for CBT and it has literally changed my life. I don't have panic attacks anymore and have been able to go back to school and finish my degree. There have been tough days, for sure, but Dr. Goldberg has been there for me throughout the good and bad. He truly cares about his patients. I haven't seen other therapists but based on my experience this is place to go for anxiety treatment.
I have been working with Dr. Jonathan Goldberg and his staff for a number of years now and have proudly watched him build his practice of qualified clinicians. He has counseled me personally and professionally and I will forever be grateful for the positive effects his thoughtful and skilled guidance has provided me. I have always found him to be professional, reliable and deeply focused on the concerns of his clients. I believe the care he uses while guiding his clients is the same that he would use while hiring others to help building his practice. One that is and always has been it's mission to help others.
As others have said this practice really cares about people. I had seen a therapist many years ago and was surprised by the state of mental health when I came around to looking for support again. Everyone is too busy to return phone calls and I spent months trying to make a connection and get some decent answers. Life Changes Group got back to me right away. The practice owner actually called me (!) and I had an appointment within a few days. Feel like I'm back on track again. I plan to use them for medicine as well since my PCP doesn't want to prescribe.
An excellent group of caring people that are perfect if change is needed in life to enjoy it more and manage stress. From a skill standpoint the group cannot be questioned and here is some who truly makes a positive impact.
It's challenging to find/ask for help. I'm honestly not one to admit that I need it! The professionals at Life Changes Group, from the minute that I contacted them, made me feel good about the decision to seek counseling. They walked me through the process, asked thoughtful questions, took care of my insurance (I have Harvard Pilgrim, which goes through Optum, which goes through UHC...you get it), and connected me with a caring therapist that I absolutely adore. In a world where more attention needs to be paid to mental health, there should be a far greater number of places like this.
Wonderful practice. As a gay woman of color, I have always felt welcome and accepted. Nice offices and excellent insurance/billing support.
I have been going to Life Changes Group for the past 3 months and am extremely pleased with the services. Every doctor that I've worked with for one to one counseling and meds has been professional and caring. Working with Dr. Goldberg I was able to make an appointment quickly and spent 20 MIN on the phone talking about my history. I've been other places and they don't bother to return phone calls. If you ask around, mental health practices are generally NOT GOOD. This is the exception. Highly recommend!
I have been a patient here for years, and I can honestly say that I have only had great experiences in dealing with Dr. Goldberg and his clinicians. Everyone is professional, friendly, and approachable. Dr. Goldberg has a genuine sense of empathy; he has always made me feel comfortable to open up and in turn I have experienced nothing but support. I have been to other clinicians before, but I never felt like I was dealing with someone who was genuinely listening. Here, every clinician I have seen has worked with me to develop coping mechanisms for anxiety through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This empathy coupled with such professionalism is the reason I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.
